Laura DeNovi earned her Doctor of Acupuncture With Chinese Herbal Medicine Specialization degree from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, CA and a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine at East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, FL. She earned her physical therapy assistant degree from Loma Linda University in California.

She is nationally board certified with NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine). This means that she has passed boards in Acupuncture, Chinese Medical Theory, Bio-medicine, and Chinese Herbology.

Additionally, she has training for AcuPoint Injection Therapy (APIT), for which she is certified in FL.
